Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
3. Account Registration and Security When you create an account, you must provide complete and accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your password. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Content All content, including property listings, photos, and descriptions, is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Users are responsible for the content they upload and must ensure it does not infringe any intellectual property rights or violate any laws.
5. Prohibited Activities Users are prohibited from:
- Submitting false or misleading information.
- Engaging in any illegal activities.
- Distributing malware, viruses, or any other harmful software.
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Using the app for any unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Circumventing any technological measures implemented by Ojjo Real Estate to protect the app.
6. Privacy Your use of our app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our app, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property All intellectual property rights in the app and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, belong to Ojjo Real Estate or our licensors. Users are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent from Ojjo Real Estate.
8. Property Listings and Agent Responsibilities Agents are solely responsible for ensuring that their property listings are accurate, complete, and up-to-date. Ojjo Real Estate reserves the right to moderate and remove any listings that violate our policies or applicable laws. Agents must only list properties located within East Africa, including Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and surrounding regions.
9. Hotel Reservations Users can book accommodations through our hotel reservation system. Reservation confirmations are subject to availability and the terms set by the respective hotels. Ojjo Real Estate is not responsible for any discrepancies or issues arising from hotel reservations made through our platform.
10. Limitation of Liability Ojjo Real Estate is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses. Our app is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
11. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms and Conditions or any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease, and you must delete or uninstall the app from all your devices.
12. Changes to Terms Ojjo Real Estate reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Continued use of the app following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the courts of Uganda.
14. Dispute Resolution In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact Ojjo Real Estate to attempt to resolve the issue informally. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled through binding arbitration in Uganda, in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration body.
15. Severability If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced with a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
16. Entire Agreement These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ojjo Real Estate regarding the use of our app. Any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, are superseded by these terms.
