Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, including property listings, messages, and transaction history, will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

1. Before You Delete Your Account

1.1 Consider Alternatives

  • Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account while preserving data
  • Privacy Settings: Adjust data collection and sharing preferences
  • Data Export: Download your data before deletion
  • Support Contact: Speak with our team about your concerns

1.2 What You'll Lose

  • Message history and communications
  • Transaction records and payment history
  • Saved searches and favorite properties
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Access to our mobile applications

2. How to Delete Your Account

2.1 Online Account Deletion (Recommended)

Step 1: Log Into Your Account

Visit https://ojjorealestate.com/login and sign in with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to Account Settings

Go to your dashboard and click on "Account Settings" in the menu.

Step 3: Find Privacy & Security

Select "Privacy & Security" from the settings menu.

Step 4: Request Account Deletion

Scroll down to find "Delete My Account" and click the button.

Step 5: Confirm Deletion

Follow the confirmation process and provide the required verification.

3. Verification Process

3.1 Identity Confirmation

To prevent unauthorized account deletions, we require:

  • SMS verification (if phone number is registered)
  • Additional security questions for high-value accounts

3.2 Business Account Requirements

For agency and professional accounts, additional verification may include:

  • Authorized representative confirmation
  • Outstanding payment settlement
  • Property listing transfer or removal
  • Active subscription cancellation

4. Deletion Timeline

4.1 Immediate Actions

  • Account login is disabled
  • Public listings are hidden
  • Email communications are stopped
  • Mobile app access is revoked

4.2 Complete Deletion Schedule

  • Day 1: Account deactivation and public content removal
  • Day 7: Active system data deletion
  • Day 30: Database record removal
  • Day 90: Backup and archive deletion

4.3 Legal Retention

Some data may be retained longer for legal compliance:

  • Transaction records (7 years for tax purposes)

5. What Happens to Your Data

7. Reactivation Policy

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. If you want to use our services again, you will need to:

  • Create a new account from scratch
  • Re-upload all property listings
  • Rebuild your profile and preferences
  • Re-establish professional relationships
Important: You may not be able to use the same email address for a new account if it's been blacklisted for security reasons.
